Maria Eduarda Rodrigues de Freitas , la joven de 21 años que murió de forma dramática cuando dos instructores de puenting la arrojaron desde un puente sin antes sujetarla a un equipo de seguridad, fue enterrada este domingo en el estado brasileño de Sao Paulo . Sus últimos mensajes en redes sociales antes del trágico suceso han salido ahora a la luz: " ¿Quién fue el loco que me dejó saltar de un puente?", decía uno de ellos.

El suceso tuvo lugar el sábado en Ponte do Esqueleto , un puente abandonado en el municipio de Limeira donde turistas practican deportes extremos. La joven, que aspiraba a convertirse en profesora de educación física, había pedido que la lanzaran desde el puente al estilo avión, con dos instructores levantándola por encima de sus hombros al tiempo que ella extendía los brazos.

Imágenes compartidas en internet muestran a dos hombres con cascos blancos lanzando a Freites a un abismo de 40 metros sin sujetarla a ningún equipo de seguridad, y una persona que observa grita a los instructores que la aten a una cuerda.

La policía en Brasil ha detenido a tres hombres que trabajaban para la empresa que ofrecía estos saltos por la muerte de la joven. Las autoridades también han iniciado una investigación que podría derivar en cargos por asesinato.

"Hija mía, te has ido y lo único que queda es dolor y añoranza. Te amo para siempre. Aquella maldita cuerda te arrebató de mi lado para siempre", ha escritro la madre de Maria Eduarda en redes para despedirse de su hija tras el trágico suceso.

Su hermano, por su parte, también ha querido despedirse de la joven. "Despertar y saber que no estás aquí duele. Duele mucho . Te quiero muchísimo. Ahora tengo que ser fuerte, porque duele muchísimo. Todavía no puedo creerlo. Nunca te olvidaré, nuestras bromas. Te quiero muchísimo, princesa", ha compartido.
