Na mesnom groblju u Sečnju, na staroj kapeli, urušio se stub , čime je nastala opasnost od daljeg obrušavanja i mogućeg oštećenja okolnih spomenika , saopštilo je Javno komunalno preduzeće Sečanj.

JKP Sečanj je saopštilo da su odmah po prijavi građana i na zahtev nadležnih organa Opštinske uprave radnici ovog preduzeća izašli na teren i preduzeli neophodne mere kako bi obezbedili prostor i sprečili nastanak veće materijalne štete.

- Zbog nepristupačnosti terena i nemogućnosti da raspoloživa mehanizacija priđe ugroženom delu groblja, bilo je neophodno ukloniti deo ozidanog svoda na ulaznoj kapiji . Ova intervencija omogućila je bezbedan pristup mehanizaciji, kao i nesmetano izvođenje radova na uklanjanju urušenog materijala. Istovremeno, iskorišćena je prilika da se izvrši i odvoz nagomilanog otpada sa groblja, čime je dodatno unapređen izgled i funkcionalnost ovog prostora - saopštilo je JKP Sečanj.

U preduzeću kažu da su svesni da su ovakvi radovi mogli izazvati zabrinutost kod pojedinih meštana, ali naglašavaju da su svi zahvati izvedeni isključivo u cilju zaštite ljudi, spomen-obeležja i same kapele, uz maksimalnu pažnju i odgovornost.

- Molimo građane za razumevanje i zahvaljujemo na strpljenju. JKP Sečanj će preduzeti sve potrebne aktivnosti kako bi se u najkraćem mogućem roku sanirala nastala oštećenja i prostor vratio u prvobitno stanje - dodaje se u saopštenju.
