An irate customer who went viral for scolding a father inside a gas station's women's restroom while he was helping his two young daughters has been fired by a Mississippi real estate firm.

In a social media post, the Starkville, Mississippi-based Overstreet Properties said it was aware of videos circulating online showing a man who worked as an independent contractor for the firm.

"The conduct depicted in the video does not reflect the values of Overstreet Properties or the standards we expect of those who represent our organization," the post stated. "Our focus remains on providing quality service to our clients, partners, and community."

The company added that it is no longer associated with the unidentified man, which was first reported by TMZ.

The video was captured by Tyler Brodsky, an Oklahoma dad traveling with his two daughters. Brodsky had stopped at a QuikTrip gas station in Alabama and took his daughters into the women's restroom. Moments later, the video shows a man yelling and demanding that Brodsky leave the facility.

"I knocked and announced that I'm coming in with two girls, which, at this time, the bathroom was empty," Brodsky recounted on " Fox & Friends First ."

"This guy comes in, starts yelling, demanding that we need to leave, I should have taken them to the men's restroom, which I disagreed with," he added. "I've personally been in men's restrooms . I just didn't feel like it was a good place to take two little girls."

The man was seen standing in the doorway of the bathroom, scolding Brodsky as he helped his girls wash their hands. The bystander was also seen speaking into his own phone, explaining that his wife and "very ill" mother-in-law had reported a man being inside the women's restroom.

One of Brodsky's young daughters was seen crying as the ordeal continued. A QuikTrip manager eventually closed the door on the shouting bystander and apologized to Brodsky and the girls.

"It's a scary thing for little girls, so I tried to just do the best I could in the moment and keep them calm. But they're doing well now," Brodsky told "Fox & Friends First" co-host Todd Piro.

In a separate TikTok video, Brodsky noted that three police officers eventually arrived at the scene and assured him he had done nothing wrong.
