Nach Angaben aus französischen Diplomatenkreisen sind weitere Sanktionen auf Öl und Gas geplant; die Ukraine soll weitere Unterstützung bei ihrer Flugabwehr erhalten .
Der ukrainische Präsident Wolodymyr Selenskyj sagte gegenüber Journalisten ebenfalls, Thema seines Treffens mit den Staats- und Regierungschefs der G7 sei unter anderem die Luftraumverteidigung gewesen. Die Staats- und Regierungschefs der sieben Industrienationen seien sich einig in ihrer Unterstützung für sein Land gewesen.
