L’appuntamento è per il prossimo consiglio federale. Probabilmente mercoledì 17 giugno. Sarà in quella sede che Matteo Salvini dovrebbe scoprire le carte e varare la nuova squadra che lo affiancherà nel tentativo di rilancio della Lega. Per il segretario l’indagine a carico di Elisabetta Pellegrini , coordinatrice della struttura tecnica di missione del Ministero dei Trasporti e suo braccio destro al Mit è solo l’ultima grana. C’è da arginare il calo di consensi del partito a vantaggio di Futuro Nazionale di Roberto Vannacci . Il genaerale da quando è uscito dal Carroccio e ha fondato il suo partito è in ascesa costante di popolarità.

Il problema è che la strategia di Salvini, basata su un maggiore coinvolgimento dell’ex Doge Luca Zai a e del governatore del Friuli Venezia Giulia Massimiliano Fedriga , ai quali ha offerto la vice-segretaria, è in stallo. Zaia e Fedriga non sono disposti ad assumere incarichi senza una reale capacità di incidere. Zaia in particolare non è intenzionato ad accettare la nomina a vice-segretario senza una rifondazione del partito su base federale, che consenta alle istanze del Nord di essere maggiormente rappresentate. Con annesso congresso che certifichi il cambio di statuto, con una costola “nordista” dotata di larga autonomia sul piano della gestione delle risorse, delle politiche territoriali (ambiente, imprese, giovani) nonchè della selezione dei candidati, sul modello tedesco della Cdu-Csu .

La bozza del nuovo statuto

In questa direzione andava la bozza di statuto messa a punto da Roberto Calderoli , nella quale si parlava di “macro regione del Nord”. Una bozza troppo sbilanciata però secondo Salvini, che l’ha stoppata e fatta rimettere in un cassetto, per ora. Il timore è uno svuotamento dei suoi poteri di segretario e un commissariamento di fatto, con una Lega nazionale alla quale rimarrebbe il coordinamento di tematiche trasversali come la sicurezza, fisco, immigrazione. E poco altro. Anche se il presidente di Regione Lombardia Attilio Fontana a Zapping, su Rai Radio1, ha escluso il rischio diarchia tra Salvini e Zaia (lodato come «persona apprezzata e che ama il territorio») perché «vedo competenze diverse, funzioni diverse: chi si occupa più del territorio e chi fa la sintesi a livello nazionale».

Sta di fatto che a deputati e senatori leghisti del sud il modello Csu-Cdu non piace. Il timore è quello di diventare la bad company del Carroccio. Un motivo in più per Salvini per evitare un cambio di pelle e di statuto. Il problema è che fermi non si può restare. Zaia e Fedriga non possono essere nominati vice senza contropartite reali. Nè il pressing dello stato maggiore del partito per riportare Salvini al Viminale e ridare smalto al partito («sulla sicurezza il governo sta facendo molto e Piantedosi lavora bene ma serve un politico che sappia spiegare i risultati portati a casa e incidere di più» dicono in tanti a partire dal ministro Giancarlo Giorgetti e dal capogruppo al Senato Massimiliano Romeo ) sembra destinato a portare risultati nell’immediato. La premier Giorgia Meloni non è disponibile a un rimpasto, almeno fino a settembre, quando il governo taglierà il traguardo dell’esecutivo più longevo della storia repubblicana.

L’apertura di Durigon a Zaia

Nella situazione di impasse, lavora a una mediazione il vicesegretario della Lega Claudio Durigon . Ospite a Start su Sky TG24, anche lui si dice convinto che il ritorno di Salvini al Viminale avrebbe ricadute positive sui consensi del Carroccio perché «se noi facciamo giocare il centravanti a fare il centravanti è più facile che faccia goal, visto che nasce centravanti». Ma colpisce soprattutto il fatto che Durigon, uomo al quale Salvini ha affidato la sua strategia di espansione e radicamento del Carroccio nel centro-sud, non chiuda le porte e Zaia, che definisce « una grande persona che può dare risposte forti». Di qui la chiosa: «Credo che oggettivamente Salvini troverà la miglior strada per tutti».
