Luxury watch shop robbed: Munich police chase fugitive thieves

Nach einem Überfall auf ein Juweliergeschäft in der Münchner Innenstadt hat die Polizei mit etwa 40 Streifenwagen und einem Hubschrauber die Verfolgung der flüchtigen Räuber aufgenommen. Das sagte ein Polizeisprecher in München. Die Polizei geht von mindestens zwei Tätern aus, die bewaffnet sein sollen und mit einem Fahrzeug die Flucht ergriffen. Eine Gefahr für die Bevölkerung bestehe nach bisherigen Erkenntnissen nicht.

In dem Juweliergeschäft, das nach außen hin unauffällig wirkt und keine Schaufensterauslage hat, werden unter anderem Luxus-Uhren verkauft. Über die genaue Schadenshöhe machte der Polizeisprecher zunächst keine Angaben. Es müsse jedoch von einem Schaden von mehreren Hunderttausend Euro ausgegangen werden. Vier Personen gelten nach Polizeiangaben als Geschädigte, sie sind alle unverletzt.
