The "Pussy Tower" is now beer.

A brewery has started selling a limited batch of 'RIP Kusitorni' beer as a tribute to the demolished Kusitorni tower in Helsinki. The tower was removed in May 2026. The beer label features an image of the demolished tower and reads 'RIP Kusitorni 1984–2026'. The brewery stated in an Instagram post that they created a crisp pilsner in honor of the tower, with an aroma as strong as the tower itself. According to *Helsingin Sanomat*, the commemorative beer has been so popular that cold shelves have run out. Employees at Olarin Panimo's taproom reported that some customers plan to visit the ruins,

Olarin Panimo on alkanut myydä Kusitornin muistoksi olutta. Helsingin Itäkeskuksessa sijainnut Kusitornina tunnettu portaikko purettiin toukokuussa .

Muisto-oluen etiketissä lukee ”RIP Kusitorni 1984–2026”, ja siinä on kuva purettavasta tornista. Panimo myy olutta Konepajalla Helsingissä.

– Olit niin kaunis torni. Sinut revittiin maan tasalle niin yllättäen. Teimme kunniaksesi raikkaan rapsakan pilsin, jonka aromimaailma on yhtä voimakas kuin sinun oli, Olarin Panimo kirjoittaa Instagramissa julkaisemansa videon kuvauksessa.

Helsingin Sanomien mukaan muisto-olutta on ostettu niin paljon, että kylmähyllyt ovat tyhjentyneet.

Olarin Panimon taproomissa työskentelevä Minna Ritvanen kertoi lehdelle, että osa muisto-olutta ostaneista asiakkaista on sanonut lähtevänsä kilistelemään sillä ”Kusitornin” raunioille. Olutta on Ritvasen mukaan ostettu myös muistoesineeksi sekä lahjaksi portaikkoa purkaneille työntekijöille.

Olarin Panimo voitti kesäkuussa Suomen paras olut 2026 -kilpailun Trippin’ On Spruce Tips -oluellaan.
