Tělo dosud pohřešované osoby našli chorvatští potápěči v plachetnici, která se v neděli potopila s českou posádkou po srážce s katamaránem u Splitu. Stanici N1 to v pondělí řekl šéf splitského přístavu Željko Kuštera. Počet obětí lodního neštěstí tím vzrostl na čtyři.
Na palubě plachetnice bylo v době nehody osm Čechů. Čtyři byli převezeni do nemocnice, jejich stav není vážný.
Podle vedoucího konzulárního oddělení velvyslanectví České republiky v Záhřebu Štěpána Šantrůčka byl pohřešovaný Čech v době nehody v útrobách lodi. Těla zbylých tří obětí nalezli záchranáři již v neděli. Podle informací ČTK jsou tři ze čtyř obětí nehody z jedné obce na Opavsku.
„Policejní potápěči našli místo, kde se plachetnice potopila. Je to hloubka více než padesát metrů. V kabině plachetnice jsme našli čtvrtou osobu, po které jsme pátrali. Dojde k vyproštění těla,“ řekl Kuštera s tím, že vyzdvižena bude i samotná loď.
Kuštera podle deníku Jutarnji list také řekl, že příslušné orgány shromažďují přesné údaje o pohybu plavidel a získávají záznamy ze systému sledování lodí. Konají se rovněž výslechy přeživších z plachetnice, pasažérů z katamaránu a svědků z okolních plavidel. Odpovědnost za nehodu bude podle něj moci být stanovena až po dokončení všech vyšetřovacích úkonů a po prozkoumání místa nehody.
Šéf splitského přístavu zopakoval, že si nevzpomíná na podobnou tragédii. „Byli to hosté, kteří k nám přijeli. Je to souběh okolností, velký zármutek,“ dodal s tím, že úřady už zahájily vyšetřování s cílem zjistit, co přesně k nehodě vedlo.
Neštěstí se odehrálo v neděli kolem 11:30 ve frekventovaném průlivu mezi ostrovy Brač a Šolta. Plachetnice, která podle prohlášení chorvatského ministerstva moře, dopravy a infrastruktury plula pod francouzskou vlajkou, se po nárazu s katamaránem se 125 lidmi na palubě potopila. Příčiny nehody nejsou dosud zřejmé.
List Slobodna Dalmacija zveřejnil záběry katamaránu Krilo Eclipse, který se mezitím přesunul do přístavu ve Splitu. Na jeho pravém trupu jsou vidět odřeniny pláště, žádné viditelné větší poškození však plavidlo zřejmě neutrpělo.
Životy většího počtu českých občanů si v Chorvatsku v minulosti vyžádaly hlavně dopravní nehody. V červnu 2012 například zahynulo při nehodě autobusu s českými turisty na chorvatské dálnici nedaleko tunelu Sveti Rok osm lidí, 43 utrpělo zranění. Podle vyšetřovatelů nehodu zavinil mikrospánek řidiče. V září 2001 při autonehodě poblíž hlavního města Záhřebu zemřeli tři čeští turisté a jeden Rakušan, který nehodu zavinil. Na dálnici tehdy zahynul manželský pár a jejich patnáctiletý syn. Jeho o šest let starší bratr utrpěl těžká zranění.
Na možnost tragédie upozorňovali odborníci roky
Na možnost tragédie v průlivu u Splitu upozorňovali odborníci kvůli tamnímu hustému provozu už roky, řekl chorvatské veřejnoprávní stanici HRT námořní expert Jurica Gašpar. Upozornil na to, že úřady nepřijaly patřičná opatření.
„Odborníci už léta upozorňují na nedostatek kontroly v klíčových námořních bodech a právě Splitska vrata jsou oblastí s nejvyšší koncentrací námořního provozu na Jadranu,“ řekl šéfredaktor portálu Morski.hr Gašpar. Další taková místa jsou podle něj přístav ve Splitu či průliv mezi ostrovem Hvar a souostrovím Pakleni otoci.
„Bohužel reagujeme až tehdy, když dojde k takové tragédii. Už před několika lety jsme upozorňovali na možné důsledky nedostatečné kontroly provozu na nejfrekventovanějších plavebních trasách,“ řekl. „Jeden kapitán dálkové plavby, který léta pracoval na trajektových linkách, nám tehdy otevřeně řekl, že dříve či později dojde k nehodě se smrtelnými následky, pokud se nic nezmění,“ dodal.
Současně Gašpar upozornil, že řada menších plavidel nedodržuje bezpečnostní pravidla a pohybuje se bezprostředně před velkými loděmi. Námořní právo nicméně podle něj neurčuje, které plavidlo má v kolizních situacích jednoznačnou přednost.
„Byli jsme svědky situací, kdy se menší plavidla doslova zařazují před trajekty a katamarány a vytvářejí mimořádně nebezpečné situace,“ uvedl s tím, že odpovědnost je společná a všichni účastníci námořního provozu musí dodržovat základní pravidla. Zároveň musí existovat účinný dohled, dodal.
Okolnosti nehody jsou dosud předmětem vyšetřování a podle Gašpara v tuto chvíli není možné ukázat prstem na viníka. Důležitou roli při objasňování okolností tragédie budou podle něj mít nyní podvodní drony chorvatského námořnictva, které dokážou prohledávat mořské dno i ve velkých hloubkách.
