Janko discovered what John Malkovich is like when the cameras are off: 'He completely surprised me'

Croatian actor Janko Popović Volarić discussed his experience working with Hollywood star John Malkovich in a promotional video for the Croatian Tourism Board. He described Malkovich as unexpectedly kind and gentle in person, contrasting with his more sarcastic and sharp persona seen in films. Volarić noted that Malkovich's real-life demeanor was softer than his on-screen portrayal but emphasized that his intelligence, sarcasm, and irony were still evident through his roles.

Film potpisuje proslavljeni redatelj i dobitnik 45 nagrada Emmy Pete Radovich, također hrvatskih korijena.

Ipak, kako putovanje odmiče, njegov otpor postupno nestaje pred prirodnim ljepotama, gastronomijom i opuštenim načinom života.

Vrhunac spota dolazi pred sam kraj. Promatrajući zalazak sunca, Malkovich napokon popušta i uz karakterističnu dozu suzdržanosti izgovara: "Nije loše.

Video je objavljen na službenom kanalu Hrvatske turističke zajednice Croatia Full of Life i vrlo brzo prikupio brojne pozitivne reakcije.

"Najbolja promocija hrvatskog turizma dosad.
