Jakirović made his Premier League debut against Manchester United

Croatian coach Sergej Jakirović has led Hull City to promotion to the Premier League after they defeated Middlesbrough 1-0 in the play-offs. The team will open their first Premier League season on August 22 against Manchester United at home. This will be Manchester United's first opening-day away game since 2016. NAKON što je pobjedom od 1-0 protiv Middlesbrougha u finalu doigravanja uveo Hull City u Premier ligu, hrvatski trener Sergej Jakirović saznao je i raspored natjecanja za novu sezonu. "Tigrove" već na samom početku čeka veliki izazov jer im u goste dolazi jedan od velikana engleskog nogometa.

Otvaranje sezone protiv Manchester Uniteda

Hull City će novu prvoligašku sezonu otvoriti 22. kolovoza na domaćem terenu protiv Manchester Uniteda, koji je prošlu sezonu završio na trećem mjestu.
