The Israeli leadership sharply criticizes and rejects the agreement between the US and Iran

Israeli officials have strongly criticized and rejected the announced agreement between the United States and Iran to halt hostilities, which was expected to end conflicts with Hezbollah. Key ministers in Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's government stated that Israel is not bound by the U.S.-Iran deal and that its military will not withdraw from areas it controls in southern Lebanon. Defense Minister Israel Katz emphasized that the Israeli military will remain in southern Lebanon, Syria, and Gaza without time limits. He also stated that these security zones would be cleared of local居民 and恐怖

Israel renewed attacks on southern Lebanon, growing nervousness over possible US-Iran deal

Israel has resumed attacks in southern Lebanon, targeting several villages with airstrikes and artillery fire. The Israeli military has issued new evacuation orders for residents in multiple Lebanese towns and villages. Meanwhile, Lebanese MP Amin Sherri suggested there are 'positive indicators' of a potential agreement between the United States and Iran, which he believes would benefit Lebanon and harm Israel.
