"Exceptional Textiles of Mexico" exhibit at the Ethnographic Museum extended due to great public interest

The exhibition 'Exceptional Textiles of Mexico' at the Ethnographic Museum in Belgrade has been extended until June 30 due to high public interest. The exhibition, organized in collaboration with the Mexican Embassy in Serbia, showcases 34 sets of authentic traditional clothing and representative textile items from Mexico's National Museum of Popular Culture. It highlights the craftsmanship, weaving techniques, and cultural heritage of various indigenous communities in Mexico.

Zbog velikog interesovanja posetilaca, izložba "Izuzetni tekstili Meksika“ u Etnografskom muzeju u Beogradu produžena je do 30. juna.

Izložba je realizovana u saradnji sa Ambasadom Meksika u Srbiji povodom obeležavanja 80 godina diplomatskih odnosa Meksika i Srbije i velikog jubileja 125 godina postojanja Etnografskog muzeja i predstavlja jedinstvenu priliku da publika otkrije bogatstvo i raznovrsnost tradicionalne tekstilne kulture Meksika.

Kroz 34 kompleta autentičnih narodnih nošnji i reprezentativne tekstilne predmete iz zbirke Nacionalnog muzeja popularnih kultura Meksika, posetioci imaju priliku da se upoznaju sa izuzetnim umećem ručne izrade, tradicionalnim tehnikama tkanja i veza, kao i kulturnim nasleđem brojnih domorodačkih zajednica Meksika.

Etnografski muzej poziva sve zainteresovane posetioce da iskoriste produženi rok i posete ovu izuzetnu postavku koja svedoči o bogatstvu meksičkog nematerijalnog kulturnog nasleđa , tradicionalnih tekstilnih tehnika i umetničkog izraza brojnih domorodačkih zajednica.
