Il senatore di Forza Italia Francesco Silvestro è indagato dalla Procura di Roma. È accusato da un'imprenditrice di un atto di violenza sessuale che sarebbe avvenuto il 25 febbraio del 2025 nel suo studio da parlamentare, nel palazzo di San Luigi de' Francesi. Nel fascicolo, proveniente da un altro ufficio giudiziario e ora all'attenzione dei pm capitolini, c'è anche il nome del carabiniere che avrebbe organizzato l'incontro tra la donna e l'azzurro e che poi, secondo l'imprenditrice, avrebbe tentato di dissuaderla dal denunciare. Il militare dell'Arma risulta indagato per violenza privata. Ad anticipare la notizia dell'iscrizione nel registro degli indagati è ancora il quotidiano Repubblica, a cui oggi la donna parla in un'intervista.
"Lui mi blocca, ero come raggelata", racconta l'imprenditrice che si era recata nell'ufficio parlamentare di Silvestro per vendere alcune bottiglie di vino pregiato. Nell'intervista, la donna non si limita a ricordare quel giorno ma interviene anche sulla polemica generata dalle recenti frasi del parlamentare azzurro. Nel negare qualsiasi tipo di violenza, parlando con Repubblica, l'azzurro aveva detto: "modestamente io sono un bel ragazzo, la signora è una signora normale".
Dall'imprenditrice, la replica piccata: "non pensavo di dover affrontare, dopo la violenza, anche il dileggio. Lui bello, io normale". È lo stesso Silvestro, però, a fare ammenda. "Mi scuso - afferma il presidente della commissione bicamerale per gli Affari Regionali - per espressioni che credevo colloquiali, comunque sbagliate, e che nel contesto di una telefonata possono aver generato fraintendimenti o leso sensibilità". Le scuse giungono con una nota in seguito alle denunce delle opposizioni. Sono le parlamentari del Pd, in primis, a prendere l'iniziativa. Scrivono alla presidente della Bicamerale Femminicidio Martina Semenzato per chiedere di "condannare parole inaccettabili".
"L'accertamento dei fatti spetta alle autorità competenti, ma quella reazione e quel linguaggio ci hanno turbato", protestano. Nonostante le scuse, piovono critiche anche dal centrodestra. La capogruppo azzurra Stefania Craxi tiene a stigmatizzare "espressioni totalmente sbagliate" e "lontane" dalla sua "cultura, storia e sensibilità". E pure dalla Lega, per voce della responsabile Pari opportunità Souad Sbai, arrivano la condanna di "parole vergognose" e la "piena solidarietà alla donna che ha denunciato". "Gli accertamenti disposti da La Russa sono un primo passo necessario, ma non basta", l'alert di Sbai.
Il riferimento è all'incontro di domani (alle 15) in cui il presidente del Senato assegnerà ai questori il compito di avviare gli accertamenti sul caso. Procedura che, secondo l'articolo 8 del codice di condotta di Palazzo Madama, deve svolgersi "in contraddittorio con il senatore interessato". Gli occhi di tutto l'arco parlamentare, e soprattutto di Forza Italia, sono rivolte proprio agli accertamenti che partiranno a breve a Palazzo Madama. Ai vertici del partito, intanto, si prova a minimizzare parlando di "caso chiuso".
Dopo le scuse - è il ragionamento di chi insiste sulla linea garantista - aspettiamo l'esito delle indagini. Tra le file del partito c'è chi continua a collegare la storia della denuncia con le fibrillazioni interne in Campania, mentre ai piani alti del gruppo azzurro c'è chi starebbe tentando una moral suasion nei confronti di Silvestro per convincerlo ad autosospendersi. Anche se la sensazione diffusa è che per ora prevalga la linea attendista. Nel frattempo, la donna spiega che "meno di due mesi dopo" quel febbraio avrebbe telefonato "per chiedere un aiuto allo studio di uno dei migliori avvocati italiani, Giulia Bongiorno". Ma "lo studio era oberato, non aveva tempo", racconta. La senatrice della Lega, "per ragioni deontologiche", non risponde sul caso specifico. Ma precisa: "se c'è una ipotesi di violenza i miei colleghi segnalano la Fondazione Doppia Difesa".
