The Croatian national football team is playing its first match of the World Cup at 22:00 - and it's against England! The fans are already ready and while they are the luckiest in the USA, many will follow the 2022 bronze medalists in the squares of Croatian cities.

The game will be played at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, home of the NFL's Dallas Cowboys.
Croatia has played England nine times, but only once at the World Cup, in the 2018 semi-final, when Mario Mandžukić led the fireworks to the gold medal match in extra time, scoring 2-1.

Former Croatian national team player Dejan Lovren has released photos ahead of tonight's game showing him looking forward to the match against England.
"Dress 6 still fits perfectly, only now instead of sprinting I'm sprinting to the fridge for wine. Condition is there it's just a little switched to couch mode", Lovren said in the caption below the post on Instagram, and then he said: "Good luck guys, aymoooooo".

Temperatures will "reach or exceed 100 degrees Fahrenheit [40°C.]"
In Dallas, where today's temperature is 102 degrees Fahrenheit [32°C] with 65 percent humidity, the National Weather Service warned that temperatures will "reach or exceed 105 degrees Fahrenheit [40°C]".
Local media reports that the bars have prepared themselves well, ordering extra quantities of alcohol as well as water.
