Glenn Close and Ridley Scott will be awarded the Oscar for Career

The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences will award honorary Oscars to actress Glenn Close, animator Floyd Norman, and director Ridley Scott during the 17th edition of the Governors Awards on November 15, 2026. The awards will take place at the Ray Dolby Ballroom of Ovation Hollywood. Additionally, producers Christine Vachon and Pamela Koffler will receive the Irving G. Thalberg Memorial Award.

L'Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences conferirà l'Oscar onorario alla carriera all'attrice Glenn Close, all'animatore Floyd Norman e al regista Ridley Scott. Le statuette degli Oscar saranno consegnate durante la 17ma edizione dei Governors Awards dell'Academy, in calendario domenica 15 novembre 2026, presso la Ray Dolby Ballroom dell'Ovation Hollywood.
