Po neuspelem misijonu v Maroku je pridigal po Franciji in Italiji ter predaval v Bologni. Nazadnje je branil reveže pred oderuhi v Padovi, kjer je 13. junija 1231 tudi umrl, papež Gregor IX. pa ga je že 30. maja 1232 razglasil za svetega. Goduje 13. junija.
