Gery Keszler's "All Senses Gala" is not until 2027

Gery Keszler had planned to host the 'All Senses Gala' in Salzburg during August 2026 but has postponed it until 2027. According to Keszler's statement provided to the KURIER, the postponement was due to complex negotiations regarding the event's timing, partners, artistic execution, and organizational conditions. The decision was made to ensure the event maintains its high standards rather than being scaled down or compromised in quality.

Im Vorjahr veranstaltete Gery Keszler während der Salzburger Festspiele die amfAR-Gala. Da ist er auf den Geschmack gekommen und wollte eigentlich auch heuer wieder eine Charity-Gala in der Mozartstadt machen.

Im August hätte die "All Senses Gala" stattfinden sollen, diese muss jetzt aber auf 2027 verlegt werden, wie Keszler in einem Statement sagt, das dem KURIER vorliegt.

"Die Abstimmungen rund um Termin, Partner, künstlerische Umsetzung und organisatorische Rahmenbedingungen haben sich in den vergangenen Wochen komplexer entwickelt als ursprünglich angenommen. Dadurch wurde der zeitliche Vorlauf für ein Format dieser Größenordnung letztlich zu knapp."

Die Gala lebe "von künstlerischer Präzision, starken Partnern, internationaler Strahlkraft und einer Umsetzung auf höchstem Niveau. Wir haben uns daher bewusst dagegen entschieden, das Projekt unter Zeitdruck zu verkleinern oder in seiner Qualität zu kompromittieren."

Dies solle aber keinesfalls eine Absage sein, sondern nur eine Verschiebung um ein Jahr. "Die künstlerische Idee bleibt bestehen. Die Verlegung gibt uns nun die Möglichkeit, das Format für 2027 mit der notwendigen Sorgfalt, Konsequenz und Qualität weiterzuentwickeln und in jener Form umzusetzen, die unserem Anspruch und auch dem Standort Salzburg entspricht."
