The Andhra Pradesh Ganesh Utsav Samiti urged the State government to convene advance coordination meetings with district-level officials across the State to ensure the smooth and successful conduct of Ganesh Utsav celebrations at a meeting here on Tuesday. Samiti honorary president Gokaraju Gangaraju, president Chalasani Anjaneyulu and others addressed the gathering. The Samiti emphasised the need for coordinated efforts among organisers, government departments and local authorities to ensure that Ganesh Utsav celebrations across Andhra Pradesh are conducted peacefully, efficiently and in an environmentally responsible manner.
Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) Pracharak Tanikella Satya Ravi Kumar, along with representatives of the Vishwa Hindu Parishad, provided guidance on various aspects of Ganesh festival celebrations. Their deliberations focused on promoting religious awareness, social harmony, environmental protection and the cultural significance of the festival.
District presidents and secretaries from across Andhra Pradesh participated in the meeting and reviewed preparations for the upcoming celebrations. The gathering appreciated the cooperation extended by the State government during last year’s festivities and expressed hope for similar support this year.
