Evropski parlament usvojio je rezolucije o Bosni i Hercegovini, Kosovu i Crnoj Gori. Očekivano, najgori smo na evropskom putu. Naglašena je potreba očuvanja ustavnog poretka i teritorijalnog integriteta BiH, uz poziv domaćim čelnicima da prekinu blokade i ubrzaju reforme.

Politički lideri u Bosni i Hercegovini pozvani su da bez odlaganja provedu dugo očekivane reforme. Zatražen je prestanak opstrukcionizma, politički motiviranih veta i retorike podjela. U usvojenom dokumentu Evropski parlament izražava žaljenje zbog ostavke visokog predstavnika te navodi kako buduća tranzicija ureda OHR-a mora biti sprovedena uz puno poštivanje ustavnog poretka, suvereniteta i teritorijalnog integriteta Bosne i Hercegovine.
"Bosni i Hercegovini je mjesto u Evropskoj uniji, no reforme moraju biti provedene" , ponovio je stalni izvjestilac Evropskog parlamenta za Bosnu i Hercegovinu Ondrej Kolar.
U raspravi koja je prethodila usvajanju dokumenta, evropski parlamentarci govorili su o dugotrajnim političkim blokadama u BiH, osudili govor mržnje, secesionističku retoriku i podrivanje državnih institucija. U rezoluciji su osudili etničke podjele, istorijski revizionizam, negiranje genocida, ali i saradnju vlasti Republike Srpske sa ruskim zvaničnicima. Ponovljena je podrška evropskoj perspektivi te je zatraženo imenovanje glavnog pregovarača.
Evropski put BiH danas je komentirao i ministar vanjskih poslova BiH Elmedin Konaković, posebno u kontekstu činjenice da su Moldavija i Ukrajina otvorile pristupne pregovore, dok je Crna Gora zatvorila još jedno poglavlje.
"Zakon o sudu i Zakon o VSTV-u, kao i imenovanje glavnog pregovarača – bez toga nema pomaka. Zbog blokada u Vijeću ministara, a prije svega u Domu naroda i politike SNSD-a, evropski put je neizvjestan" , rekao je Elmedin Konaković, ministar vanjskih poslova BiH.
S druge strane, predsjednik HDZ-a BiH Dragan Čović smatra kako se stvari ipak mogu promijeniti.
Izvještaj o Bosni i Hercegovini usvojen je sa 478 glasova za, 116 protiv i 54 suzdržana. Evropski zastupnici su u dokumentu ponovili bezuslovnu podršku pristupanju BiH Evropskoj uniji na osnovu njenog jedinstva, suvereniteta i teritorijalnog integriteta.
