Este jueves comienza la esperada nueva edición de la Copa del Mundo 2026 , donde el primer partido enfrenta a México , uno de los países anfitriones, contra Sudáfrica .
Las selecciones integran el Grupo A de la fase inicial, que completan Corea del Sur y República Checa.

El partido de México contra Sudáfrica es este jueves 11 de junio, a las 15:00 horas de Chile.
Las selecciones juegan el partido inicial del campeonato en el Estadio Azteca de Ciudad de México.
Además, 90 minutos antes del inicio del duelo se desarrollará la primera ceremonia inaugural del evento, que abrirá la trilogía de espectáculos musicales y culturales que recibirán a la hinchada en cada país anfitrión.
