U akvatoriju Splitskih vrata, između otoka Brača i Šolte, u nedjelju je došlo do teške pomorske nesreće u kojoj su poginule tri osobe, dok se za jednom osobom još traga. U sudaru su učestvovali putnički brod domaće privatne kompanije i jedrilica pod francuskom zastavom, koja je nakon nesreće potonula.

Policija je saopćila da se nesreća dogodila oko 11:38 sati.
„U pomorskoj nesreći koja se oko 11:38 sati dogodila u akvatoriju između otoka Šolte i Brača, smrtno su stradale tri osobe, a za jednom osobom se još uvijek traga. Ostalim putnicima s jedrilice, četiri osobe, djelatnici hitne medicinske pomoći pružili su medicinsku pomoć na mjestu događaja i nije bilo potrebe za odvođenjem istih u bolnicu“ , navodi se u saopćenju policije.
Jedrilica potonula, na katamaranu nije bilo povrijeđenih
Prema informacijama Ministarstva mora, prometa i infrastrukture, Lučka kapetanija Split dojavu o sudaru zaprimila je u 11:34, nakon čega je odmah obaviještena Nacionalna središnjica za usklađivanje traganja i spašavanja na moru, MRCC Rijeka, i pokrenuta akcija spašavanja.
U nesreći su učestvovali putnički brod domaće privatne firme i jedrilica pod francuskom zastavom. Na putničkom brodu u trenutku nesreće bilo je 118 putnika i sedam članova posade i svi su prošli bez povreda, navodi Ministarstvo.
Prema pisanju lokalnih medija, jedrilica je potonula, a na njoj se nalazilo osam osoba.
Četvero povrijeđenih prevezeno u Split
U međuvremenu su iz KBC-a Split za 24sata potvrdili da su na Objedinjeni hitni bolnički prijem dovezene četiri osobe iz ove nesreće. Riječ je o češkim državljanima srednje životne dobi. U toku je medicinska obrada, ali su svi van životne opasnosti.
Ranije je bilo saopćeno da im je hitna pomoć pružila pomoć na mjestu nesreće i da nije bilo potrebe za prevozom u bolnicu, no kasnije su povrijeđeni ipak dovezeni u Split na daljnju obradu.
Uzrok nesreće još nije poznat
Tačne okolnosti koje su dovele do sudara i potonuća jedrilice za sada nisu poznate. Nadležne službe još utvrđuju sve detalje, a na mjestu događaja bit će obavljen uviđaj kojim će rukovoditi zamjenica županijskog državnog odvjetništva uz učešće vještaka za saobraćaj i asistenciju policije.
Tokom dana očekuju se dodatne informacije od Nacionalne središnjice za usklađivanje traganja i spašavanja na moru, Lučke kapetanije i policije. Za sada je potvrđeno da akcija traganja za jednom osobom još traje.
