Member of the crew of Artemis 3 and astronaut of Slovenian descent

The article discusses NASA's Artemis 3 mission, which has been restructured to focus on testing docking operations between the Orion capsule and commercial spacecraft like SpaceX's Starship and Blue Origin's Blue Moon in Earth's orbit, rather than landing on the Moon directly. The crew for Artemis 3 was announced, including Randy Bresnik, an astronaut of Slovenian descent, who will lead the mission. Other members include Luca Parmitano from the European Space Agency, and astronauts Andre Douglas and Frank Rubio. Bob Hines has been named as a backup crew member.

To bo ena najkompleksnejših Nasinih misij v zadnjih desetletjih, saj bo zahtevala kar tri koordinirane izstrelitve in hkratno upravljanje treh vesoljskih plovil.

Blue Moon Mk 1. Foto: Blue Origin

Najprej bo izstreljen lunarni pristajalnik Blue Moon ameriškega podjetja Blue Origin .
