“Purtroppo o per fortuna, dallo schermo mi è subito balzata all’occhio un’immagine scattata dalle telecamere di sorveglianza: era una foto ingrandita dei glutei di una ragazza”. La ragazza ventiseienne che ha svelato la chat sessista dei dipendenti Atm (l’azienda del trasporto pubblico di Milano) innescando la protesta su Instagram , ha raccontato al Corriere della Sera come è andata. Prima di tutto ha spiegato da cosa è stata attratta la sua attenzione, mentre viaggiava su un tram: sullo smartphone di un dipendente seduto davanti a lui, aperto sulla chat incriminata, erano appena stata condivisa l’immagine del sedere di una ignara passeggera. La foto era stata scattata immortalando il monitor collegato alle telecamere per la sorveglianza a bordo del veicolo. Insieme all’immagine, il conducente aveva condiviso il commento: “È il mio dolce per voi”. Dando la stura alle parole sessiste e offensive dei partecipanti alla chat.
La ragazza ha dichiarato che altre foto di analogo tenore sessista potrebbero essere state condivise in quella chat: “A un certo punto l’uomo ha aperto la galleria fotografica del gruppo. Lì ho notato che tra i tanti post che si erano scambiati, c’erano altre immagini prese dalle telecamere di sorveglianza”. Cioè? “Foto simili: ancora una volta, corpi di donne fotografati senza il consenso delle interessate”. La ragazza ha spiegato anche il contesto a bordo del mezzo pubblico, vicino al lavoratore dell’azienda pubblica: “Lui era letteralmente davanti a me. Si comportava come se non fosse su un mezzo pubblico, tra la gente, all’ora di punta. Io dopo qualche fermata sono scesa”.
E l’effetto, ha continuato, è quello di “non potersi più sentire al sicuro . Banalmente, qualsiasi donna o ragazza che viaggia da sola sui mezzi pubblici di notte cerca protezione nei lavoratori, magari vuole un posto vicino al conducente e si tranquillizza al sapere che ci sono delle telecamere di sorveglianza che dovrebbero rendere un luogo sicuro. In realtà, poi, si scopre che gli stessi lavoratori impiegati in società pubbliche usano quelle telecamere per diffondere immagini intime. Lo trovo spaventoso “. Per questo, ammette la ragazza, “mi cadono le braccia quando alcune persone sminuiscono questi fatti, non tutti li reputano gravi”. Dopo aver condiviso su Instagram le foto della chat, la ragazza ha dichiarato che “in ogni caso io mi sto muovendo con uno studio legale per la denuncia”.
Alla chat di gruppo sarebbero iscritti 7 dipendenti dell’Atm : un conducente, cinque amministrativi, un altro in pensione. L’azienda locale ha avviato un’indagine interna, che nel giro di tre mesi potrebbe condurre a possibili sanzioni come la censura, una multa (trattenuta di 4 ore dallo stipendio), la sospensione dal servizio, fino alla retrocessione o alla destituzione. “Quanto agli episodi accertati, al momento ce ne sarebbe soltanto uno: quello documentato dalla foto scattata dalla 26enne”, riferisce il Corriere. Atm ha presentato una denuncia alla Polizia postale. Anche il sindaco Beppe Sala ha invitato a chiarire: “Atm deve far luce, ma deve anche intervenire e, se verranno individuati delle responsabilità, non ci siano interventi che rimettano coloro che hanno fatto queste cose in condizione di nuocere ancora”.
