THE WORST SERIES BACK: Serbia has recorded its second victory in the League of Nations!

The Serbian women's volleyball team defeated the Dominican Republic 3:0 in their third match of the second week of the Nations League, held in the Philippines. The match took place in Pasig City. Serbia's most effective player was Anja Zubić with 16 points, followed by Nina Čajić with 13 and Branka Tica with nine. The Dominican Republic's standout players were Geraldin Stefani Gonzalez with 11 points and Džineiri Martinez with 10. Serbia is currently ranked 10th in the Nations League table with two wins and five losses, while the Dominican Republic is at 18th with a record of 0-6.

Odbojkašice Srbije poražene su u prvom meču na Filipinima od ekipe Japana sa 3:2 u setovima u okviru prvog meča Lige nacija .

Peti set

Japanke su bolje otvorile ovaj deo igre i povele sa 3:0, a onda i sa 4:2. Rutinski su rešile Japanke ovaj deo igre i završile meč.

Četvrti set

Ovaj deo igre protekao je u konstantnom vođstvu Srbije. Maksimalno od četiri poena, a Japanke su se u jednom momentu približile. Izabranice Zorana Terzića dobro su reagovale zadržavši koncentraciju. Ipak, selekcija Japana bila je uporna i prišla na -1 (18:17). Greškom Išikave smo otišli na +2, ali su rivalke poravnale na 19:19 nakon greške Hene Kurtagić. Uzelčeva je dala nadu (20:19) nakon što je čelendž Japanki bio neuspešan. Od tada se igralo poen za poen, a Japan je poveo potom 23:21. Hena Kurtagić imala je odličnu rolu kojom je donela prednost od +3 (18:15). Posle asa Aleksandre Uzelac otišla je Srbija na +5 (21:16). Stigle su do set- lopte Srpkinje. Drugu su iskoristile za novo vođstvo.

Drugi set

Japanke su nakon gubitka prvog dela igre u naredni ušle agresivno i stekle ranu prednost od +2 (3:1). Nakon dobre akcije iz bloga, Srbija je došla na 3:3 u veoma uzbudljivom raspletu situacije. Prštalo je na sve strane i igrala se veoma atraktivna odbojka. Bio je ovo set s mnogo preokreta na obe strane. Terzićeve izabranice odlepile su se na 18:15. Japan je odgovorio i prišao na -1 (21:20), ali su naše dame stigle do dve set-lopte. Propustile su veliku priliku, a rival je serijom 4:0 oteo set Srbiji.

Prvi set

Srpkinje su se dobro držale i vodile u prvoj fazi seta. Odlepile su se Terzićeve izabranice na 9:7. Potom i 15:12 iako su Japanke zapretile. Konstantno je Srbija morala da brani stečenu prednost. Međutim, uspele su da borbenošću drže rivalke na distanci. Povele su 23:20 kada je Terzić tražio tajm-aut da konsoliduje ekipu. Koristila im je ta pauza, pa su stigle do prve set-lopte, koju su odmah iskoristile.

Uoči meča

Srpske odbojkašice su na prvom turniru Lige nacija, koji se igrao u Kini, ostvarile jednu pobedu i tri poraza. Prvo je ubedljivo savladan Tajland 3:0. Potom su usledili dramatični porazi od Poljske i Belgije sa po 3:2 i Kine 3:0.

-   Imale su snage, ali hrabrosti definitivno ne. Vidljivo je bilo od početka petog seta da ne možemo niti da dodamo prijem niti da napadamo, blokiramo… Bilo šta da uradimo, kao što smo radili u prethodna dva seta. To je nešto što nam se ponavlja već duže vreme. Nešto malo pre mog dolaska, pre skoro tri godine je počelo… Traje valjda već 11 utakmica u nizu - da smo izgubili 3:2. To je problem na kome treba da se radi, da se razgovara. Imali smo situaciju da ubacimo dva primača, od kojih jedna ima 17 godina, a druga je povređena i ne može da igra praktično, jer su nam se primači uplašili. To su stvari koje se mnogo teško popravljaju. Treba mnogo vremena, a za neke igrače i nikad… Da dobiju na hrabrosti, samopouzdanju i da se ponašaju kako…
