BRITANSKA javna radiotelevizija BBC ukinut će 550 radnih mjesta, uključujući u svojim odjelima za proizvodnju vijesti i sadržaja, priopćio je BBC.
Odluka je donesena u sklopu planova novog ravnatelja Matta Brittina da tijekom iduće tri godine uštedi 500 milijuna funti. BBC se suočava s izazovom da ostane relevantan dok se publike, a naročito mlađe, okreću streaming i drugim digitalnim platforma.
