Encore un rebondissement. Après l’annulation d’ Amir , initialement attendu le 21 juin à Bruay-la-Buissière, près de Béthune, pour la fête de la Musique, la ville avait misé sur Amel Bent pour assurer le spectacle vendredi 19 juin. Mais la chanteuse a finalement, elle aussi, renoncé à se produire, à seulement deux jours de l’évènement.
La mairie avait pourtant rapidement réagi après le désistement d’Amir, qui avait invoqué une « incompatibilité d’agenda ». Le choix s’est porté sur la chanteuse de 40 ans, également actrice, pour un concert gratuit maintenu place Marmottan. Selon les arrêtés municipaux, cette nouvelle programmation représentait un coût moindre, autour de 50 000 euros environ, contre 95 000 euros pour Amir.

Nouveau coup dur mercredi 17 juin, la ville apprend que le concert est à son tour annulé. En cause, « l’indisponibilité d’une partie de l’équipe artistique et technique », précise la municipalité dans un communiqué, disant « prendre acte » de la situation tout en « regrettant évidemment cette annulation ».
D’après La Voix du Nord , « l’interprète de Ma Philosophie ne voudrait pas chanter dans une ville gérée par le Rassemblement national ». Si Amel Bent a déjà exprimé ses désaccords avec le parti de Marine Le Pen, elle s’était pourtant produite sur place en 2023, alors que la municipalité avait basculé RN depuis 2020.
