Varamennirnir Johan Manzambi og Rubén Vargas tryggðu Svisslendingum sinn fyrsta sigur á þessu heimsmeistaramóti í fótbolta.

Sviss vann 4-1 sigur á Bosníumönnum sem enduðu leikinn manni færri.

Bæði lið höfðu gert jafntefli í fyrstu umferðinni og þetta var því fyrsti sigurinn sem vannst í þessum riðli.

Johan Manzambi og Rubén Vargas komu báðir inn á völlinn sem varamenn á 72. mínútu leiksins en þá var staðan enn markalaus.

Manzambi kom Sviss í 1-0 með viðstöðulausu skoti aðeins tveimur mínútum síðar.

Breel Embolo fiskaði Tarik Muharemovic af velli með rautt spjald á 80. mínútu og lagði svo upp mark fyrir Rubén Vargas á 84. mínútu.

Manzambi bætti síðan við öðru marki sínu og þriðja marki Svisslendinga á lokamínútu eftir stoðsendingu frá Vargas.

Manzambi er aðeins tvítugur og spilar með SC Freiburg í Þýskalandi.

Bosníumenn náðu að laga stöðuna í blálokin með þrumuskoti frá Ermin Mahmic sem kom inn á völlinn sem varamaður stuttu áður.

Svisslendingar fengu vítaspyrnu í blálokin og úr henni skoraði fyrirliðinn Granit Xhaka.
