Germany: AfD further widenes its gap from CDU/CSU

The Alternative for Germany (AfD) has widened its lead over the Christian Union (CDU/CSU), according to a recent YouGov poll. The AfD now holds 29%, while the CDU/CSU dropped to 20%, its lowest recorded level in this survey. The Free Democratic Party (FDP) has also re-entered the political landscape after electing a new leader. Green Party remains third with 14%, followed by the Social Democratic Party (SPD) at 12%. The FDP is now at the threshold for entering parliament.

Η Εναλλακτική για τη Γερμανία (AfD) διευρύνει περαιτέρω το δημοσκοπικό της προβάδισμα, με την Χριστιανική Ένωση (CDU/CSU) να καταγράφει το ιστορικά χαμηλότερο ποσοστό της στη συγκεκριμένη μέτρηση. Στον «χάρτη» μπαίνει και πάλι το Κόμμα των Φιλελευθέρων (FDP), μετά την εκλογή νέου αρχηγού.

Σύμφωνα με την τελευταία δημοσκόπηση του Ινστιτούτου YouGov, η AfD κερδίζει μία μονάδα από τη μέτρηση της 12ης Μαΐου και φθάνει στο 29%, με την Ένωση CDU/CSU να περιορίζεται στο 20% (-2).  Η διαφορά των εννέα μονάδων είναι μάλιστα η μεγαλύτερη που έχει καταγραφεί έως σήμερα σε οποιαδήποτε αντίστοιχη έρευνα κοινής γνώμης.

Οι Πράσινοι βρίσκονται στην τρίτη θέση με 14% (+1), ενώ το Σοσιαλδημοκρατικό Κόμμα (SPD) ακολουθεί με 12% (-1), όσο και η Αριστερά (+1). Στο όριο εισόδου στη βουλή βρίσκεται για πρώτη φορά έπειτα από μήνες το FDP, μετά την εκλογή του Βόλφγκανγκ Κουμπίκι ως νέου αρχηγού.
