A fire was activated in Boborás (Orense), which burned 20 hectares in an area with 'complex' topography

A wildfire broke out in Boborás (Orense) during the night of Saturday and has burned over 20 hectares so far, according to estimates provided by the Department of Rural Environment. Although no homes have been affected, the complex topography of the area has facilitated the fire's spread. The fire started at 9:55 PM in the parish of Moreiras, and due to the time, aerial resources could not be deployed until this morning, which initially hindered firefighting efforts. The mayor, Patricia Torres, explained that because the terrain was so complicated, ground units were unable to reach the source.
