Ethiopia: At least 28 dead in a bus accident

Τουλάχιστον 31 άνθρωποι έχασαν τη ζωή τους ενώ 33 άλλοι τραυματίστηκαν μετά από πτώση λεωφορείου  σε γκρεμό  το πρωί της Δευτέρας (15/6) στη βόρεια περιοχή της Αμχάρα της Αιθιοπίας .

Ειδικότερα, σύμφωνα με το Αστυνομικό Τμήμα της Διοίκησης της πόλης Κομπολτσά, το λεωφορείο ήταν ασφυκτικά γεμάτο και ταξίδευε από την περιοχή Ντέσι προς την πρωτεύουσα, Αντίς Αμπέμπα, όταν εξετράπη της πορείας του.

Οι ομάδες πρώτων βοηθειών καθυστέρησαν να φτάσουν στο σημείο και αυτό είχε ως αποτέλεσμα αρκετοί τραυματισμένοι να μην τα καταφέρουν. Η συγκεκριμένη περιοχή δεν διαθέτει βασικές υποδομές και ασθενοφόρα, αναγκάζοντας τους επιβάτες να μεταφέρονται με δημόσια οχήματα.
