Sobse obravnava 166 zahtev državljanov v Milpi Alta; v San Bartolomé Xicomulcu organizira mega dan storitev

The Secretariat of Works and Services (Sobse) conducted a large-scale service day in San Bartolomé Xicomulco, located in the Milpa Alta borough, addressing 166 citizen requests gathered through its “Casa por Casa” program. The initiative aimed to improve public spaces and urban infrastructure based on community needs. The operation took place during a coordinated effort involving 14 teams composed of 110 workers, supported by 14 specialized vehicles. These teams executed tasks such as street lighting installation, road paving, resurfacing, pothole repair, tree pruning and removal, public area cleaning, bench maintenance, signage placement, and green space upkeep. The work was carried out in multiple locations throughout the town. Residents had previously submitted their concerns through the “Casa por Casa” initiative, which allows citizens to report issues directly to the government. The feedback highlighted several areas requiring improvement, including better access to public services and enhanced safety in communal spaces. The Sobse emphasized that these interventions aim to enhance urban conditions, bolster security, and improve residents' quality of life. During the event, Sobse personnel focused on both immediate repairs and long-term infrastructure improvements. The activities included not only routine maintenance but also more substantial projects designed to address structural deficiencies and promote sustainable urban development. This approach reflects the department’s commitment to responding to local demands with tangible results. The operation was part of a broader strategy to engage communities in the planning and execution of municipal projects.
