Recently, Gordon Gill, the architect responsible for the Jeddah Tower in Saudi Arabia, a structure that will soon hold the title of the world’s tallest, spoke about the need to focus on updating current infrastructure rather than solely pursuing greater heights. Gill emphasized the importance of maintaining the relevance of existing buildings to ensure their longevity and avoid obsolescence.
