Online business matching generates US$135 million for Indonesian MSMEs

The Indonesian Ministry of Trade reported that its online business matching program generated nearly US$135 million in export revenue and potential transactions in 2025. The program connects micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) with international buyers through digital platforms, reducing reliance on expensive overseas trade shows. The ministry utilized 46 trade representatives across 33 countries to vet products, provide feedback on international standards, and facilitate necessary certifications before matchmaking. As of January-April 2026, the program had already generated around US$107.34 million in transactions. The initiative, called 'MSMEs Can Export,' aims to make exporting more accessible for local businesses with limited promotional budgets by enabling direct connections with global markets.
