Out of the 52,759 files that were previously pending, nearly half have now been processed, marking a significant step toward streamlining operations within the relevant departments. It involves the Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe Development department, the Backward Classes Development department, and all associated directorates and sub-offices. The first phase of the file adalat commenced on July 1 and concluded successfully. During this period, officials took measures to accurately assess the volume of pending files and postal communications in each office and section. Priority was given to clearing these backlogs promptly, with a focus on ensuring that critical issues such as medical aid requests received immediate attention. Instructions were issued to staff to expedite the processing of urgent files, reflecting a commitment to swift service delivery. File adalats are currently being conducted in all district offices, underscoring the decentralized approach to addressing bureaucratic delays. The minister emphasized that continuous monitoring and timely interventions would remain key components of the ongoing effort. This includes regular follow-ups to ensure that no backlog is left unattended and that administrative procedures align with the needs of the target beneficiaries.
