Türkiye’s economic confidence rises to 99.8 in July

Turkey's overall economic confidence index rose by 0.9% month-on-month to 99.8 in July, according to data released by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK). This marks an increase from 98.9 in June, though the index remains slightly below the 100-point threshold that separates optimism from pessimism. Consumer confidence improved more significantly, rising 2.2% to 89.8, while services confidence grew 1.4% to 112. Construction confidence also increased by 0.6% to 83.5. However, confidence in the real sector (manufacturing) decreased by 0.8% to 101.2, and retail trade confidence dropped 1.6% to 111. The indices are seasonally adjusted, except for the consumer confidence index.
