Starting next week, thousands of residents in Zagreb will experience a temporary interruption in hot water supply due to the revitalization project of the heating network by HEP-Toplinarstva. The work affects neighborhoods such as Špansko, Malešnica, Gajnice, and Stenjevec, with some areas experiencing disruptions until September 1. In particular, parts of Malešnica and Novi Zagreb will face longer interruptions, with specific streets and institutions like the kindergarten and elementary school in Malešnica affected until September 21. HEP-Toplinarstva stated that this temporary disruption is necessary for the project, which is co-financed by the European Union, and emphasized that the improvements will result in more reliable and higher-quality heat distribution after completion.
