Porsche has introduced a new Advanced Package for its fully electric Macan lineup, aiming to boost demand for the vehicle by bundling its most popular features into one cost-effective option. The package expands the standard equipment of the Macan, Macan 4, and Macan 4S models for the new model year. It includes a panoramic roof system, Matrix LED headlights, automatic dimming interior and exterior mirrors, and a choice of body paint from the “Shades” or “Contrasts” palettes. Inside, the package brings 14-way electrically adjustable comfort seats with black leather upholstery, along with a Bose Surround Sound system. For powertrain and suspension, the package encompasses Power Steering Plus, adaptive air suspension with leveling and height adjustment functions, including Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM). In Germany, the Advanced Package costs €5,990.46 for the Macan and Macan 4, and €5,299.07 for the Macan 4S (including VAT). Depending on the model, this represents savings of up to 45 percent compared to purchasing each feature individually. However, the exact savings for customers in Croatia have yet to be disclosed. Alongside the new package, Porsche is enhancing the standard equipment of the Macan with additional comfort and driver assistance systems. Starting with the new model year, the Adaptive Cruise Control comes standard, alongside the Automated Parking system featuring a 2D Surround View display. This system automatically detects parking spaces between and in front of objects and takes control of the parking maneuver for both parallel and perpendicular spots. Additional parking functions, such as Remote Park Assist, which allows users to control the parking maneuver via a smartphone, remain available as optional extras. The central console now includes a wireless charging pad with increased power output to 25 watts (previously 15 watts), enabling faster smartphone charging. For the Macan GTS and Macan Turbo variants, Porsche is standardizing the installation of a 22 kW AC charger, accelerating charging speeds at public stations or compatible wall chargers. The Macan, Macan 4, and Macan 4S models come standard with a charging speed of up to 11 kW, with an optional upgrade to 22 kW available. All Macan models can achieve a maximum charging speed of 270 kW using appropriate DC fast-charging stations. Meanwhile, automotive expert Roberto Mazzu highlights the Renault Clio as one of the best purchases under €20,000. Specifically, he points to the sixth-generation Renault Clio’s Evolution TCe 115 variant, which starts below €19,000 on the Italian market and around €21,000 in Croatia. One of its main attractions is the declared average fuel consumption of five liters per 100 kilometers. According to Mazzu, this makes it one of the most compelling buys currently available. The Clio TCe 115 is powered by a 1.2-liter three-cylinder turbo petrol engine producing 115 PS, paired with a six-speed manual transmission and sending power to the front wheels. Based on manufacturer data, combined fuel consumption stands at five liters per 100 kilometers, with CO2 emissions of 114 grams per kilometer. Despite its compact size, approximately four meters long, the Clio offers a cargo capacity of 391 liters, with a fuel tank holding 42 liters. Mazzu emphasizes the car's equipment as a key advantage, noting that even though the Evolution trim is the base level offering, buyers receive a substantial amount of features relative to the price. The Clio competes in one of Europe’s most competitive segments, facing off against models such as the Peugeot 208, Opel Corsa, Toyota Yaris, and Dacia Sandero. While the Toyota Yaris offers lower fuel consumption thanks to its hybrid powertrain, Mazzu notes its price approaches €25,000. On the other end, the Dacia Sandero starts at approximately €16,500, making it cheaper than the Clio. Both the Peugeot 208 and Opel Corsa often come with significant discounts, but according to Mazzu’s data, their comparable petrol versions consume slightly more fuel. The combination of price, fuel efficiency, space, equipment, and the fact that it is a new generation model leads Mazzu to consider the Clio TCe 115 as one of the more interesting purchases among affordable cars today. Buyers spending around €20,000 get 115 PS, a six-speed manual transmission, a declared fuel consumption of five liters per 100 kilometers, and nearly 400 liters of cargo space, a combination that is increasingly difficult to find given the ongoing rise in new car prices.
