Serbian high school students win four medals at the Balkan Physics Olympiad in Istanbul

The Serbian delegation won four medals at the Eighth Balkan Physics Olympiad held in Istanbul, organized by the Turkish Physical Society. The team, consisting of four students from Serbia, included Leo Ramon Šer from Paraćin, Nemanja Maslak from Kragujevac, and two students from the Mathematical Gymnasium in Belgrade, Damjan Tropin and Konstantin Stojilković. Stojilković won gold, Maslak and Ramon Šer took silver, while Tropin secured bronze. The team was led by professors Imre Gut and Dragica Ivković, with guest professor Vladimir Marković attending the event. The Balkan Physics Olympiad brings together high school students from regional countries to compete in solving challenging theoretical and experimental physics problems.
