Located near his newly renovated vacation home, which cost around five thousand euros, the bunker is part of a broader expansion that includes several other properties he has acquired in the surrounding area. In July, Reid shared updates on his progress, including information about additional properties he has purchased nearby, which will undergo renovation in the future. The bunker, estimated to cost eight thousand euros, is intended to become a fully equipped living space suitable for year-round habitation, complete with electricity and running water. The structure is currently under construction, with work continuing into its second month. Reid has been actively sharing his progress through online platforms, offering insights into the ongoing developments. Work on the exterior of the bunker has included hydro-isolation measures around the structure, which was partially excavated into the ground. Some tons of construction waste, old roofing materials, and asbestos sheets were found during excavation. With help from local friends and experts from nearby villages, the team has applied protective coatings and insulation using polystyrene and durable plastic layers. They have also filled the space between the walls and the ground with gravel, ensuring proper drainage and water runoff from the area towards the forest. Inside the bunker, electrical wiring has been installed, connecting the structure to power. Electrical specialists from Slovenia have assisted in this process. The ceiling of the lower floor has been covered with gypsum boards, and rough walls within the bunker have been smoothed and leveled. A space for LED lights has been cut into the ceiling, which will be installed later. Collaborating with Reid, colleagues have also helped in crafting wooden stairs, a rarity in Europe typically made of concrete. Reid has decided to give back to the community that supported him during the renovation of his five-thousand-euro home. He has returned some of the benefits to the local residents, particularly by renovating a public park where children often play. According to videos, the children are very happy with the improvements. Commentators have praised this gesture, calling Reid a true influencer. The bunker project continues with the fabrication of the wooden staircase and further interior renovations. In one of the final stages of construction, he shared how he transformed the lower level into a more usable space, making it appear larger. Besides the properties already acquired near his renovated home and the bunker, he has also purchased a neglected vineyard along with an associated building. The property is located close to the bunker and is intended to be connected eventually.
