The classical ballet Carmen and Bolero on June 13 in the repertoire of the National Theatre of Sarajevo

On 13 June, the National Theatre of Sarajevo will present two classical ballet performances on the same evening: *Carmen* by Rodion Shchedrin and *Bolero* by Maurice Ravel. This double bill offers audiences an opportunity to experience two distinct yet equally compelling works of ballet artistry. In contrast, *Bolero*, choreographed and directed by Takuya Sumitomo, has its premiere in the context of the Academic Ceremony commemorating the 40th anniversary of the Winter Olympic Games held in Sarajevo. The performance will include a large group of dancers from the National Theatre’s ballet company, such as Tamara Ljubičić, Ekaterina Vereshchagina, Nataša Gaponko, Albina Huskić, Zulejha Kečo Kapidžić, Toko Tatekawa, Darika Dunganova, Selma Efendić, Dora Kos, Luisa Escamilla Rodriguez, Dalila Kaučić, Lejla Bajramović, Bulat Gareev, Til Čmančanin, Boris Vidaković, Masafumi Okuzono, Denis Zhuchenko, David Augusto Juarez Quiroga, Admir Kalkan, and Mateo Dani. The assistant to the choreographer is Rieka Sumitomo, the set designer is Josip Lovrenović, costume designer is Amra Zulfikarpašić, and again, the ballet master is Mia Jahić.
