Ownership & classification

Ownership
Dnevni avaz is a Sarajevo-based daily relaunched in 1995 by Bosniak media magnate and politician Fahrudin Radončić. It is published by Avaz-Roto Press, the largest media house in Bosnia and Herzegovina; ownership is now formally held by Azra Radončić, Fahrudin's former wife, though Radončić remains the dominant figure behind the company. Radončić is the founder and president of the SBB (Savez za bolju budućnost) political party.
Funding
Financed through newspaper sales, advertising and the commercial revenues of the Avaz-Roto Press group; its fortunes are closely tied to its owner's wider business and political interests rather than to subscriptions or state funding alone.
Affiliation & stance
The paper takes a pro-Bosniak, centre-right line and has historically promoted the interests and electoral fortunes of Radončić and his SBB party, including through its Avaz.ba online affiliate. Because the outlet is controlled by a single owner who is also a party leader and uses it to advance that party, it is correctly classified as DEPENDENT rather than a neutral commercial outlet.

Locals warned about the pipes near the hot springs of Bunica, the Federal Ministry of Environment reacted.

According to media reports and citizen complaints, work involving the installation of drainage pipes for runoff water from the highway construction site has been observed approximately 300 meters away from the Bunica spring. The ministry has requested an inspection to determine the factual status of the situation and take corrective measures if any violations are found. A White House spokeswoman criticized Generation Z, saying, "They've been served, they should be sent to Cuba or Iran".

Sudan's RSF closes in on Al Obeid as UN warned of imminent atrocities
Sudan's Rapid Support Forces (RSF), a paramilitary group, is advancing toward Al Obeid in the North Kordofan region, which is currently held by the Sudanese army. The city has experienced significant disruptions due to RSF drone strikes targeting both military and civilian infrastructure, including the main power station, leading to power outages, water shortages, and hospital operations being affected. Residents report that life remains mostly normal despite these challenges, though fuel shortages persist after attacks on gas stations. Videos circulating online show RSF fighters claiming they will capture Al Obeid within days. Al Obeid is strategically important as it houses the army's 5th Infantry Division and serves as a major commercial hub. Losing this city would be a significant setback for the army, similar to their previous loss of El Fasher in Darfur, which led to widespread atrocities by the RSF. In response, multiple countries, including Norway, Britain, France, and Germany, have raised concerns at the UN Human Rights Council, warning of potential large-scale atrocities if the RSF escalates its assault on Al Obeid.
