Demonstrators wreaked havoc in Belfast for the second night in a row as riots and chaos continue to shake parts of the city.
Violence erupted on the streets as hundreds of masked rioters clashed with police, while vehicles were set on fire and Molotov cocktails were thrown at officers.
Dozens of police officers from riot control units were deployed to deal with demonstrations near a hotel housing asylum seekers in County Antrim just before 8 p.m. last night, The Sun reports.
The protesters tried to march to the Chimney Corner hotel, but they were stopped by police officers.
A group of about 200 masked young men gathered on Antrim Road near Maluska after they were stopped.
Police officers were attacked with bricks taken from nearby buildings, as well as broken paving stones and fire extinguishers.
Molotov cocktails were also thrown at a police line and their vehicles on Antrim road, Belfast Live reports.
The police responded by using water cannons to break up the crowd and push it back.
Dumpsters on wheels were stolen and set on fire, while others were filmed using a garden fence as a shield from water cannons.
As the conflict continued through the night, a group of rioters also set fire to an abandoned house next to the Maxol gas station, as well as a car that was completely burned.
Smoke could be seen rising near the Sendeknause roundabout in Newtownabbey, eight miles northwest of downtown Belfast, as a truck nearby was engulfed in flames.
Late at night, the police finally fired rubber bullets to completely disperse the crowd and end the conflict.

The Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) has not yet confirmed how many people have been arrested. In a statement, they said:
Police are dealing with a public order disturbance in Glengormley on Wednesday, June 10. Drivers and residents are asked to avoid the Antrim Road area, as a large number of items, including bricks, bottles, and pieces of construction material, have been thrown at police. A dumpster has also been set on fire.
The riots followed protests in the area earlier in the evening. Police are present to ensure the safety of everyone.
Elsewhere, more than 100 people gathered at Stormont, and another 100 near Ulster University in Coleraine, before they dispersed.
During the day, before the violence, the rioters published a "shoot-to-kill list" of addresses where migrants live.
The police issued a statement condemning it as "completely unacceptable."

"We have received calls from numerous families, homeowners, neighbors, and members of the wider community who are extremely disturbed by this reckless activity. This is unacceptable. It endangers lives and must stop," the police said.
Meanwhile, a smaller protest appeared to have been held in Greenock, Glasgow, in front of the Holiday Inn Express hotel, which is being used to house migrants.
New riots followed a chaotic night on Tuesday, when burned buses and cars could be seen in front of the charred buildings.
Rioters attacked houses they believed belonged to migrants, as well as a Middle Eastern supermarket, during violent street protests.
Residents were forced to flee their homes when riots broke out, and houses were set on fire during protests fueled by anger over the horrific knife attack.
Among the displaced was a two-month-old baby, whom brave police officers rescued and took to safety.
A major cleanup effort began the next morning, as charred remains and debris were scattered across the capital's deserted streets.
