The defendant of the principle of equality condemned the vandalism over the monument deleted in Ljubljana

A representative of the Principle of Equality condemned the vandalism of the 'Izbrišani' monument in Ljubljana, which was defaced with red paint over the weekend. The monument, shaped like the letter 'ć', commemorates the 25,671 people who were erased from Slovenia's registry of permanent residents at the beginning of the country's independence. These individuals were citizens of other countries within the Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia (SFRY) who had lived in Slovenia but did not apply for Slovenian citizenship within six months after independence. The Constitutional Court has ruled
