Iza kluba je sezona ispunjena rekordima i velikim uspjesima. SFK 2000 Sarajevo osvojio je 24. uzastopnu titulu prvaka Bosne i Hercegovine i 22. trofej pobjednika Kupa BiH, potvrdivši status najtrofejnijeg sportskog kolektiva u državi.

Pored domaćih uspjeha, klub je dobio i novo Guinness World Records priznanje kao klub koji je najviše puta učestvovao u UEFA Ligi prvaka za žene.

Već u četvrtak SFK 2000 Sarajevo saznat će protivnike u kvalifikacijama za UEFA Ligu prvaka. Klub je četiri puta ostvario plasman među 32 najbolje ekipe Evrope, dok je prošle sezone nastup završio plasmanom u UEFA Europa Cup i uspješno odigrao dva kruga takmičenja.

Podrška Ministarstva kulture i sporta Kantona Sarajevo predstavlja snažan vjetar u leđa nastavku razvoja kluba, stvaranju novih reprezentativki Bosne i Hercegovine i ostvarivanju vrhunskih rezultata na domaćoj i međunarodnoj sceni.

Direktorica i predsjednica Kluba Samira Hurem zahvalila se ministru kulture i sporta Kantona Sarajevo Kenanu Magodi na povjerenju i do sada najvećoj pomoći koju je jedna institucija pružila SFK 2000 Sarajevo.

„SFK 2000 Sarajevo više od dvije decenije gradi pobjednički mentalitet i predstavlja Bosnu i Hercegovinu na najbolji mogući način. Zahvalni smo ministru Kenanu Magodi i Ministarstvu kulture i sporta Kantona Sarajevo na kontinuiranoj podršci, ali posebno na poštovanju rezultata koje ostvarujemo godinama i vjeri da SFK 2000 Sarajevo može ostvariti još više.

Ova podrška za nas je snažna poruka da se rad, posvećenost i vrhunski rezultati prepoznaju i cijene. Nastavit ćemo ulagati u razvoj mladih igračica, stvarati buduće reprezentativke Bosne i Hercegovine i dostojno predstavljati Sarajevo i našu državu na evropskoj sceni. Uvjereni smo da su najveći uspjesi tek pred nama“, izjavila je Samira Hurem.
