A life-saving addition: Firefighters have received AEDs and a helicopter landing area

Residents of Trdobojce and surrounding areas in Halož have received important new equipment that could save lives in emergencies. The village has installed an automated external defibrillator (AED) and created a landing area for emergency helicopter medical services (HNMP). The initiative was led by local resident Alen Vaupotič, who placed the AED at his home on Trdobojci Street 77. The landing area will allow helicopters with emergency medical teams to land in the future. This development is particularly significant due to the distance from nearby emergency units, which can take up to 14–18  

Prebivalci Trdobojcev in širšega območja Haloz so bogatejši za pomembno pridobitev, ki lahko v nujnih primerih bistveno pripomore k reševanju življenj. V kraju so uredili pristajališče za helikopter nujne helikopterske medicinske pomoči (HNMP) ter namestili avtomatski eksterni defibrilator (AED).

Pobudo za projekt je podal domačin Alen Vaupotič. Ob hiši na naslovu Trdobojci 77 je na kozolcu nameščen AED, namenjen nudenju prve pomoči ob nenadnem srčnem zastoju. Urejena je tudi pristajalna površina, na kateri bo lahko v prihodnje pristajal helikopter z ekipo nujne helikopterske medicinske pomoči, zapišejo na Facebook Lepote Haloz.

Pridobitev je še posebej pomembna zaradi oddaljenosti kraja od najbližjih enot pomoči

Gasilci in prvi posredovalci iz Zgornjega Leskovca so od lokacije oddaljeni približno 3,9 kilometra oziroma okoli osem minut vožnje, enota iz Podlehnika pa približno 7,4 kilometra oziroma 14 minut vožnje.

V primerih nenadnega srčnega zastoja ali drugih življenjsko ogrožajočih stanj lahko prav hitra dostopnost opreme in zdravstvene pomoči odloča o izidu. Zato nova pridobitev ne predstavlja zgolj izboljšanja infrastrukture, temveč pomemben korak k večji varnosti in boljši pripravljenosti lokalne skupnosti.
