Last days to access the ABC of Democracy experience

La Silla Vacía has launched an educational program called 'ABC de la Democracia,' accessible via WhatsApp, aimed at helping Colombians understand the electoral system, identify misinformation, and critically analyze political information. The program, which takes 90 minutes to complete, includes videos, tests, and infographics. Over 1,000 young people have already participated, with 90% rating their satisfaction highly. The initiative is supported by the Fundación Gloria Zea through scholarships.

En un momento en el que millones de colombianos se preparan para elegir al próximo presidente, entender cómo funciona la democracia es clave. Por eso, La Silla Vacía creó el ABC de la Democracia , una experiencia de aprendizaje por WhatsApp que le ayuda a comprender el sistema electoral, identificar desinformación y analizar con más criterio lo que ocurre en la política colombiana. Más de mil jóvenes ya han accedido a esta formación gracias a las becas ofrecidas junto a la Fundación Gloria Zea .

La experiencia se completa en solo 90 minutos y combina videos, test e infografías que puede consultar a su propio ritmo desde cualquier lugar. Además, el 90 % de los participantes encuestados calificó su satisfacción con la experiencia con 4 o 5 sobre 5, destacando especialmente su utilidad práctica para entender mejor las elecciones y la información que circula en redes sociales.

Esto dice Juan Carlos Márquez Gallego, uno de quienes ya hicieron el curso: “Lo considero muy bueno y la sociedad merece la oportunidad de generar pensamiento crítico. Qué bueno que organizaciones promuevan estos cursos”.

Actualmente puede acceder al curso mediante inscripción individual o aplicar a una de las becas disponibles para jóvenes . Estamos en los últimos días para que pueda acceder a esta oportunidad para fortalecer sus herramientas ciudadanas.
