Zunanji minister Tone Kajzer je opravil ločene telefonske pogovore s kolegi iz Madžarske, Poljske in Slovaške, v katerih se je zavzel za krepitev dvostranskega in regionalnega sodelovanja, je danes sporočilo zunanje ministrstvo. Z ministroma iz Madžarske in Poljske je tudi izrazil željo po čimprejšnjem srečanju.

Zunanji minister Tone Kajzer je v telefonskem pogovoru madžarsko zunanjo ministrico Anito Orban seznanil z odločitvijo Slovenije, da odpravi nadzor na mejah s Hrvaško in Madžarsko. "To bo pozitivno vplivalo na življenja ljudi ob meji in na gospodarstvo obeh držav," je na omrežju X zapisalo zunanje ministrstvo.
Dodalo je, da sta ministra razpravljala o obeh narodnih manjšinah, se zavzela za krepitev dobrih sosedskih odnosov in se dogovorila za čimprejšnji dvostranski obisk.
V pogovoru s poljskim zunanjim ministrom Radoslawom Sikorskim je Kajzer potrdil dobre in prijateljske odnose med državama. Poljsko je označil za pomembno partnerico in zaveznico ter pozdravil rast blagovne menjave in vse več poljskih turistov v Sloveniji. Kajzer je poljskega kolega obvestil, da bo Slovenija še okrepila pomoč Ukrajini.
Ministra sta se med drugim strinjala, da bi okrepljena regionalna platforma višegrajska skupina (V4) predstavljala močnejši vzvod za večji vpliv znotraj Evropske unije.
Sikorski je medtem Kajzerju čestital ob nastopu mandata in mu zaželel uspešno delo. Oba sta izrazila željo po čimprejšnjem srečanju.
Kajzer je tudi v pogovoru s slovaškim zunanjim ministrom Jurajem Blanarjem pozdravil dobre odnose med državama. Skupaj pa sta se ministra zavzela za nadaljnjo krepitev partnerstva, tudi na področju širitve EU in v multilateralnem okviru.
