A company close to Trump won the concession for Mostar Airport, and was chosen for the gas connection between the Republic of Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The City Council of Mostar has approved the initiation of the process to grant a concession for Mostar Airport to the American company AAFS, which was also selected for a gas pipeline project connecting Bosnia and Herzegovina with Croatia. The concession does not involve ownership transfer but management rights. The majority owner of Mostar Airport is the City of Mostar with an 88% stake, while Zagreb Airport holds 12%. Gradsko vijeće Mostara podržalo je u petak pokretanje postupka dodjele koncesije nad Zračnom lukom Mostar američkoj kompaniji AAFS, koja je već odabrana i za projekt plinskog povezivanja Bosne i Hercegovine i Hrvatske.

Odluka je donesena na sjednici Gradskog vijeća Mostara na kojoj su sudjelovali hrvatski vijećnici, dok su je bošnjačke kolege bojkotirale . Gradonačelnik Mostara Mario Kordić izjavio je kako koncesija ne znači prijenos vlasništva nego isključivo pravo upravljanja.

“Koncesijom se ne stječe pravo vlasništva nego samo pravo upravljanja”, rekao je Kordić.

Direktor Zračne luke Mostar Marko Đuzel izjavio je da je za razvoj zračne luke potrebno značajno ulaganje, koje postojeći model ne može osigurati. “Treba vidjeti kako se to radi u regiji”, rekao je Đuzel.

Većinski vlasnik Zračne luke Mostar je Grad Mostar  s 88 posto udjela, a Zračna luka Zagreb suvlasnik je 12 posto .

Trumpovi ljudi

Američka kompanija AAFS Energy and Infrastructure, kojoj su na čelu ljudi bliski administraciji Donalda Trumpa , dostavila je ranije samoinicijativno ponudu za koncesiju nad Zračnom lukom Mostar.

Njome se traži koncesija na 30 godina nad tom zračnom lukom te najavljuju investicije između 55 i 75 milijuna eura u izgradnju novog putničkog terminala, proširenje i modernizaciju uzletno-sletne piste, razvoj cargo i logističkog centra.

Tu su kompaniju vlasti u Federaciji BiH ranije odabrale za plinsko povezivanje Bosne i Hercegovine i Hrvatske kroz projekt Južne interkonekcije .
