I tre veckor har tunnelbanans röda linje kantats av problem med trafikstörningar, inställda avgångar och förseningar. Men nu meddelar SL att tågen från och med i dag torsdag ska återgå till full turtäthet enligt tidtabell.

Under natten tog trafikförvaltningen de sista stegen för att genomföra den alternativa lösning som tagits fram för att hantera störningarna på tunnelbanans röda linje.

SL:s presschef Andreas Strömberg säger till SVT att trafiken kan köra i normal hastighet över Söderströmsbron, mellan Slussen och Gamla stan, en stäcka som under de senaste veckorna haft begränsad trafik.

Under torsdagen kommer trafikförvaltningen att följa upp och säkerställa att nödlösningen fungerar som den ska. Samtidigt fortsätter arbetet med att identifiera och fastställa grundorsaken till det ursprungliga felet som inte är åtgärdat, men som tros bero på ett signalfel.
