Libanski predsednik Džozef Aun osudio je danas najnovije izraelske napade na njegovu zemlju, rekavši da "ubijanje i razaranje predstavljaju opasnu eskalaciju".

Izraelski premijer Benjamin Netanjahu poručio je da će izraelske trupe ostati na teritoriji Libana "koliko god bude potrebno" i upozorio da će Hezbolah platiti "visoku cenu" za svoje napade.
Iako memorandum o razumevanju postignut između Sjedinjenih Američkih Država i Irana uključuje i obustava ofanzivnih dejstava u Libanu, IDF je danas saopštio da će nastaviti operacije usmerene na pripadnike Hezbolaha i infrastrukturu na jugu zemlje.
Izraelski ministar odbrane Izrael Kac kasnije je potvrdio da će "svaki put kada Hezbolah prekrši primirje biti uzvraćeno velikom silom" i da izraelska vojska nema nameru da se povlači sa juga Libana.
